Overview

We are seeking a skilled and energetic Cabinet Maker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, assembling, and installing custom cabinetry with precision and attention to detail. Your expertise will help bring our clients' visions to life through expert woodworking and cabinetry craftsmanship.

Requirements

- Read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications
- Build custom cabinets, reception desks, wall panels, countertops, and other architectural millwork
- Cut, assemble, fit, and finish components accurately
- Work with laminate, veneer, hardwood, plywood, MDF, solid surfaces, and other materials
- Operate standard woodworking tools and machinery safely
- Check measurements, materials, and components before assembly
- Maintain a high standard of fit, finish, and overall workmanship
- Complete assigned work within the production hours allocated to the project
- Track time accurately and update assigned work in the company’s production system
- Identify drawing, material, or production concerns before proceeding
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area




- Work cooperatively with the Shop Supervisor, Project Managers, programmers, and other production staff

QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum 5 years of cabinet-making or architectural millwork experience
- Experience building custom commercial or high-end residential millwork
- Strong ability to read and understand detailed shop drawings
- Knowledge of cabinet construction methods, hardware, and materials
- Skilled in the safe use of woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools
- Strong measuring and mathematical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to manage time and meet production deadlines
- Reliable, punctual, and accountable
- Able to lift and handle cabinet components and sheet materials safely

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate

- Mississauga, ON L4W 2K1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
