Duties

- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide companionship to reduce loneliness and foster social engagement
- Support medication administration following prescribed instructions and safety protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing to maintain a safe and comfortable setting
- Help with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring safety at all times
- Support clients with specialized care needs such as dementia,



hospice care, or disabilities by implementing personalized care plans
- Document care activities accurately and communicate any changes or concerns to supervising staff

Qualifications

- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, home care, or hospice care is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities
- Knowledge of dementia care and patient-centered approaches to senior care
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility needs
- Strong skills in caregiving tasks such as medication administration and meal preparation
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate attitude towards clients’ needs
- Valid certifications related to caregiving or healthcare are a plus but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary training is expected
