Blackwood Interiors is looking for an experienced, reliable Carpenter to join our team in Central Alberta.

We work across renovations, cabinetry, residential and commercial construction projects and are looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, works well with a team, and can confidently handle a variety of carpentry tasks.

Wage

$25–$35 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.

Responsibilities

- Perform general residential carpentry and construction work
- Framing, backing, blocking, and structural carpentry
- Install doors, windows, stairs, and other building components
- Complete renovation and residential construction work
- Read and work from construction drawings and measurements
- Safely operate hand and power tools
- Work alongside project managers, trades, and other carpenters
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Complete work accurately and efficiently
- Identify and communicate site issues as they arise

What We're Looking For
- Previous carpentry or residential construction experience




- Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working on renovation and residential projects
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Own basic hand tools preferred
- Apprenticeship or Journeyperson certification is an asset, but experience and quality of work are equally important
