We are seeking dedicated and skilled Certified Registered Nurses (Remote Practice) to provide emergency medical care at a remote industrial site in northern BC on a rotational basis.
Duties
- Assess and treat patients presenting to the clinic
- Provide medical care according to scope of practice with support of 24/7 telehealth physician where required
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in accordance with medical protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients and other emergency responders
- Maintain all emergency medical equipment, ensuring it is clean, functional, and stocked.
- Adhere to all safety standards and protocols to prevent injury or infection during emergency responses
- Assist with training new team members and participate in ongoing career development activities
Requirements
- Valid BCCNM registration
- Prior experience of remote industrial clinics preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to integrate with remote camp population
Pay: $1,100.00-$1,400.00 per day
