Position Summary The Chief, Dash 1-6 Projects leads the Project Engineering organization responsible for engineering execution governance, integrated planning, and program coordination across DHC development, modification, and sustaining activities. As both a people leader and engineering domain owner, the role establishes execution standards, develops organizational capability, and ensures alignment between engineering delivery, certification objectives, and program commitments.

Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the Project Engineering organization across multiple aircraft programs.

Establish engineering execution governance processes including schedule integration, resource forecasting, and milestone tracking.

Coordinate engineering activities across technical disciplines and program organizations.

Provide leadership visibility into engineering risks, staffing constraints, and recovery plans.

Support major program reviews including PDR, CDR, TRR, and certification readiness activities.

Drive continuous improvement in engineering planning, reporting, and execution discipline.

Qualifications &

Experience Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace,



Mechanical, Systems, Materials, or related Engineering discipline.

Progressive aerospace engineering experience supporting aircraft development, certification, production, modification, or sustaining activities.

Strong understanding of Transport Canada, FAA, and EASA regulatory requirements applicable to the role.

Demonstrated technical leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capability.

Robust analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Licensed or eligible for licensing as a Professional Engineer in Canada.
