We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Class 1 Driver AS RELIFE DRIVER PRINCE GEORGE TO SMITHERS BC SWITCH NIGHT RUN PAY BY TRIP FOR MORE INFO CALL (phone hidden)
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies
- Transport freight efficiently between distribution centers, clients, and other designated locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load security
- Manage freight loading and unloading processes, utilizing forklift or other heavy equipment as needed
- Ensure proper documentation for all shipments, including delivery receipts and logs
- Perform basic automotive repairs or report maintenance needs promptly to ensure vehicle reliability
- Maintain accurate records of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and delivery details for compliance purposes
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
with a clean driving record
- Experience operating heavy trucks and freight transportation vehicles
- Proficiency in forklift operation and freight handling techniques
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and basic automotive repair skills
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving
- Ability to perform detailed vehicle inspections and maintain accurate documentation
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
