Ray-Mont Logistics is currently looking for a full-time, permanent Class 1 Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. The Class 1 Truck Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, while ensuring compliance with all applicable safety standards and regulations.

Work Schedule

Evening shift, 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, with the possibility of working overtime.

Key Responsibilities The Class 1 Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting containers and intermodal units (trailers) throughout the Island of Montréal. The driver's responsibilities include:

- Optimizing the movement of intermodal units (empty/full) between CN and/or CP yards and our facilities.
- Picking up empty containers from various container depots across the Island of Montréal.
- Delivering full containers to various terminals at the Port of Montréal (MGT/Termont).
- Operating very recent trucks equipped with manual transmissions* (10- or 18-speed).




- Working under the supervision of the dispatcher assigned to the driver's shift.

Qualifications & Skills
- Valid Class 1 driver's licence.
- Clean driving record.
- DEP in Heavy Vehicle Driving or equivalent training.
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating heavy vehicles.
- Knowledge of the container transportation industry.
- Knowledge of the operations and procedures of the various Port of Montréal terminals and container depots across the Island of Montréal is essential.
- Experience operating B-train trailers is a strong asset.
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with colleagues.
- Ability and willingness to work significant amounts of overtime when required.
- Positive employment references.
