Full time Seasonal | Travel Required | Out-of-Town Work

Finn Construction Ltd. is looking for an experienced Class 1A Truck Driver for civil construction projects throughout Saskatchewan.

The position involves hauling construction materials such as gravel, granular material and rock, transporting equipment and supplies, and assisting with the mobilization and demobilization of projects throughout Saskatchewan. Drivers may also be asked to assist with occasional site tasks when needed. Work may include travel to northern and remote project locations and extended periods working out of town.

Our projects are located throughout Saskatchewan, including northern and remote areas. This position requires regular out-of-town work and extended periods away from home during the construction season.

What You’ll Do

- Haul gravel, granular material, rock and other construction materials
- Transport materials and supplies between project locations
- Assist with project mobilization and demobilization
- Operate company trucks and trailers safely and efficiently
- Complete daily pre-trip inspections and required documentation
- Properly secure loads and follow safe hauling procedures
- Communicate with supervisors, site personnel and other drivers
- Take good care of company equipment and report maintenance concerns
- Follow company safety policies and applicable transportation requirements

What We’re Looking For

- Valid Class 1A driver’s licence
- Experience operating a semi and trailer




- Experience hauling construction materials is preferred
- Construction or heavy civil experience is an asset
- Experience transporting equipment is an asset
- Acceptable driver’s abstract
- Strong commitment to safe driving and equipment care
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Willing and able to travel and stay out of town for extended periods
- Comfortable working long hours during the busy construction season
