Finn Construction Ltd. is looking for an experienced Class 1A Truck Driver for aggregate hauling on a current civil construction project.

The driver will start and finish each day in the Saskatoon area, hauling aggregate from our shop just outside Saskatoon to a project site near Lumsden, SK. Drivers should expect approximately 12-hour workdays while the haul is active.

This is a valuable opportunity for an experienced driver looking for steady construction-season hours while still returning to Saskatoon at the end of each workday.

Responsibilities

- Haul aggregate from the Saskatoon area to the Lumsden project site
- Operate a company semi and trailer safely and efficiently
- Complete daily pre-trip inspections and required paperwork
- Follow proper loading, hauling and load-securement procedures
- Communicate with supervisors, site personnel and other drivers
- Take good care of company equipment and report maintenance concerns
- Follow company safety policies and applicable transportation requirements

Requirements

- Valid Class 1A driver's licence




- Experience operating a semi and trailer
- Experience hauling aggregate or construction materials is an asset
- Acceptable driver's abstract
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong attention to safety and equipment care
- Able to work approximately 12-hour days
- Able to work independently and follow direction
