About the Role

DMSE is a surveying and engineering firm focused on land development. Our Saint John office handles both large land development projects and a steady stream of smaller, standalone survey jobs — legal boundary surveys, subdivisions, retracements and single-lot surveys for homeowners, lawyers, realtors, and contractors.

We're looking for someone to own that small-job pipeline from first phone call to final delivery. This is a sales-first role: your main job is bringing in and closing small survey work. Alongside that, you'll coordinate those jobs through to completion — scheduling field crews, tracking files as they move through our team, and keeping clients in the loop.

We're upfront that this is a dual-scope role today. As the team grows, we expect it to split into two focused positions — one sales, one coordination — and this role is a genuine path toward specializing in whichever half you're strongest in.

What You'll Do

Bring in the work

- Respond quickly to inbound inquiries for small survey jobs and turn them into quotes
- Follow up on quotes so leads don't go cold
- Build and maintain referral relationships with lawyers, realtors, contractors, and repeat clients
- Learn enough about our services and pricing to scope and quote most small jobs confidently on your own

Get it delivered

- Once a job is sold, schedule it with the office and field teams
- Track each file as it moves through office preparation, field work, drafting, and review, and flag anything that's stalled




- Keep clients updated on timelines and answer status questions
- Loop in the right technical person when a job needs a second opinion

What You Don't Need You don't need a survey or engineering background — we'll teach you what you need to know about our services. We're especially interested in candidates with experience in:

- Real estate, title, or mortgage transaction coordination
- Office or operations management at a small trades, construction, or professional services firm
- Inside sales or customer success at a service-based business

If you're someone who chases things down, keeps people updated without being asked, and likes closing the loop — we'd like to talk to you. Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
