Job Summary

Streetsville Square Medical Clinic Inc. is looking to hire two full-time managers to oversee daily operations at our growing family medical clinic. You will be responsible for managing a team of approximately 5+ administrative and clerical staff, supporting 3 doctors (to possibly increase to 4 or 5 doctors within a year).

The clinic is expanding its hours to 7 days per week. At least one manager will need to be available during all operating hours. Managers will schedule shifts for clinic staff and monitor doctors’ schedules; support the smooth operation of the clinic by, among other things, maintaining the premises and non-medical equipment, ensuring procedures are in place and followed for cleanliness, inventory,



patient scheduling and intake; staff management including scheduling for vacations and sick-day contingencies; improve systems for patient care and clinic efficiency; identify opportunities to increase clinic performance or expand services; resolve problems or patient concerns as they arise in a timely and professional manner; recruit and train new clinic staff as needed; mediate staff relations; and report to directors regularly on operations.

Qualifications

University degree or equivalent/higher in a field related to the provision of health services.

5+ years’ experience working in a hospital or clinic setting.

5+ years’ experience in either managing a fast-paced work workplace, or providing professional medical services to patients, of a combination of both.

Medical degree would be an asset.

Arabic and/or Urdu (preferred).

Work Schedule

37.5 hours per week.

Must be able to work weekends, mornings and evenings, as required.

30-minute lunch break and two 15-minute breaks per day.

Wages And Benefits

$62.00/hour.
