Are you an independent coding tutor with an active roster of students? We are offering a highly lucrative, hybrid compensation model designed to be far more rewarding than working entirely on your own.
When you bring your existing clients to Lets Pair, you receive the stability of an hourly wage plus the vast majority of the revenue you generate. We pay you a base rate of $22 CAD per hour PLUS 80% of the net revenue from your students. You get to keep your independence, dramatically increase your earnings, and leverage the supportive environment and physical facilities of our onsite coding center.
Responsibilities
- Transition and teach your existing student base onsite within the Lets Pair ecosystem.
- Utilize our facilities to teach your students. While we strongly encourage a collaborative, pair-programming style,
you have the flexibility to use your own proven teaching methods.
- Support learners by reviewing code, answering questions, and debugging issues.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and patiently.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and productive environment for your learners.
Required Skills & Experience
- An existing, active client base of coding students.
- Must be a Permanent Resident or Citizen of Canada.
- Proven experience mentoring, teaching, or tutoring programming concepts.
- Solid technical proficiency in modern web development (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js).
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, learning-centered environment.
