Responsibilities

- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, accurately processing transactions and handling cash or card payments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent customer service to enhance their experience.
- Manage time efficiently during busy periods to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times.
- Restock supplies, ingredients,
and packaging materials as needed to keep the shop fully stocked.
- Follow food safety regulations diligently, including proper food preparation, storage, and hygiene practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food industry setting or as a barista is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, giving accurate change, and processing transactions efficiently.
