Centennial Carstar Moncton is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Collision Technician Apprentice!

LOCATION: Centennial Carstar Moncton, New Brunswick

HOURS: Full time, Permanent. Mon - Fri, 40 hours per week.

WAGES: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour + benefits. Negotiable based on experience. Potential for flat rate.

ROLE IDENTITY:

As a Collision Technician, you'll play a critical role in restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition through structural and body repairs. Your craftsmanship, attention to detail, and commitment to quality help ensure every customer receives a safe, reliable vehicle they can confidently drive again.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

- Restoring collision-damaged vehicles to manufacturer and industry standards
- Reviewing repair plans and determining the most effective repair approach
- Repairing or replacing damaged body panels, structural components, frames, glass, and interior components
- Preparing vehicle surfaces for refinishing through sanding, grinding, masking, and related repair procedures
- Operating specialized collision repair equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspecting completed repairs to ensure quality, safety, and proper vehicle operation
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Collaborating with estimators, painters, and production staff to deliver exceptional customer outcomes

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

- Previous collision repair experience is an asset; Red Seal Certification is considered a strong asset
- Strong knowledge of collision repair techniques, vehicle construction, and repair procedures




- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Robust organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Physically capable of performing the duties of the position, including standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting as required
- Commitment to workplace safety and continuous learning

- Vehicles are restored safely, accurately, and to the highest quality standards
- Repairs are completed efficiently with minimal rework or comebacks
- Customers receive their vehicles looking and performing as they did before the collision
- Work consistently meets manufacturer specifications and quality control standards
- The production team works collaboratively to keep repairs moving smoothly and on schedule
- Pride in craftsmanship is reflected in every repair, contributing to outstanding customer satisfaction and the continued success of the collision centre
