We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Commercial Kitchen Fire Suppression Technician to join our growing team.

Previous experience with commercial kitchen fire suppression systems is an asset, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.

We are looking for someone mechanically inclined, enjoys hands-on work,is eager to learn, and takes pride in quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Please note: This position is specifically for Commercial Kitchen Fire Suppression. We are not currently looking for Fire Alarm Technicians, Sprinkler Fitters, or applicants whose primary career goal is to become a firefighter, fire alarm technician, or sprinkler technician.

We seek someone genuinely interested in building a long-term career with Apollo Fire Systems in commercial kitchen fire suppression. We invest significant time and resources in training our technicians, so we are looking for someone who wants to learn this trade, grow with our company, and remain with our team long-term.

About Apollo Fire Systems

Apollo Fire Systems is a growing fire protection company serving commercial clients across Ontario. We provide inspection, maintenance, installation, and service for commercial kitchen fire suppression systems, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, and other fire protection equipment.

We are looking for someone dependable, professional, eager to learn, and interested in building a long-term career in the fire protection industry.

Responsibilities

- Inspect, repair, test, service, and maintain commercial kitchen fire suppression systems.
- Install, inspect, and service portable fire extinguishers.
- Test and inspect emergency lighting systems.




- Accurately complete service and inspection reports and invoices.
- Pick up and deliver equipment and supplies as needed.
- Learn and follow applicable fire protection standards, procedures, and manufacturer requirements.
- Maintain a professional, safety-first approach on every job site.
- Provide excellent customer service while representing Apollo Fire Systems.
- Work independently once properly trained and supported.
- Continue developing technical knowledge and skills through hands-on training and experience.

Qualifications
- Previous commercial kitchen fire suppression experience is an asset, but not required.
- Willingness to learn and participate in company-provided training.
- Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Comfortable working with hand tools and on ladders.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Professional, dependable, and client-driven.
- Previous experience in construction, mechanical work, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or another hands-on trade is an asset.
- Valid G driver's licence with a clean driving abstract must be provided at the interview.
