About the Job

Blue Line Property Services Ltd. is a Calgary-based commercial landscaping and property maintenance company. We are looking for reliable, hardworking people to join our crew for full-time, year-round employment.

During the spring, summer, and fall, our work focuses on commercial landscape maintenance. During the winter, our crews transition primarily to commercial snow removal and winter property maintenance.

We are looking for people who want consistent employment throughout the year and are willing to work hard in both landscaping and winter conditions.

Spring, Summer & Fall Responsibilities

- Commercial lawn mowing using professional equipment
- String trimming and edging
- Blowing sidewalks, entrances, and parking areas
- Weeding and maintaining flower beds
- Deadheading and flower maintenance
- Watering flowers and newly installed sod
- Tilling and maintaining garden beds
- Garbage pickup and general property cleanup
- Operating commercial landscaping equipment
- Loading and unloading equipment and materials
- General commercial property maintenance

Winter Responsibilities
- Commercial snow removal
- Operating snow plows, snow blowers, sweepers, and other equipment
- Clearing sidewalks, entrances, walkways, and parking areas
- Shovelling and snow blowing as required
- Applying ice-control products
- Monitoring and maintaining properties during snow events
- Early-morning, overnight, or extended shifts when required by snowfall




- General winter property maintenance

Winter Compensation We provide year-round employment and compensation during the winter season. Because landscaping work naturally slows down during the winter months, our compensation structure is designed to help provide employees with consistent income throughout the year, while winter snow-removal work provides additional hours and earnings when weather events occur.

- Reliable and punctual

- Comfortable performing physically demanding work
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to work independently and as part of a crew
- Able to work early mornings and flexible hours during snow events
- Previous landscaping or snow-removal experience is an asset
- Experience operating commercial equipment is an asset
- Valid driver’s licence is an asset
