Responsibilities

- Serve as the designated Hole Watch, continuously monitoring personnel working within confined spaces to ensure their safety.
- Maintain explicit communication with entrants and rescue teams, providing updates and assistance as needed.
- Conduct thorough inspections of confined space entry points, ventilation systems, and safety equipment before and during operations.
- Enforce adherence to safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and emergency protocols.
- Document all activities related to confined space entries, including entry logs, safety checks, and incident reports.
- Coordinate with supervisors and safety personnel to facilitate safe entry and exit procedures.




- Stay vigilant for potential hazards such as toxic atmospheres or structural issues, escalating concerns immediately.

Requirements

- Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial settings is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to confined space entry and rescue procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and emergency responders.
- Ability to remain alert for extended periods during monitoring shifts.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance safety skills.
- Basic knowledge of PPE usage, ventilation systems, and hazard recognition is advantageous.

Experience

- Oil and Gas: 3 years (preferred)
