Construction Labourer – Demolition & Concrete

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Work Location: In person

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and motivated Construction Labourer to join our team.

The successful candidate will primarily assist with demolition, concrete breaking, site preparation, and concrete pouring. We are looking for someone who is physically fit, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.

Main Responsibilities

- Perform general demolition work
- Break and remove concrete
- Operate jackhammers and other demolition tools
- Prepare work areas for concrete installation
- Assist with forming and concrete preparation
- Pour, spread, and level concrete
- Load, carry, and move construction materials
- Remove construction debris and maintain clean work areas
- Assist various trades on job sites as required
- Follow all health and safety procedures
- Maintain tools, equipment,



and work areas in a safe and orderly condition

Qualifications

- Previous experience in construction, demolition, or concrete work
- Experience using jackhammers and construction tools is an asset
- Physically fit and able to perform demanding manual labour
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working on active construction sites
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and project managers

Assets

- Experience in demolition
- Experience breaking and pouring concrete
- Valid driver’s licence

Schedule: Full-time

Salary: Based on experience

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
