Join our dynamic construction team as a Crack Sealing Crew Member and play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing roadway safety and durability. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for applying crack sealant materials to pavement surfaces, preventing water infiltration, and extending the lifespan of roadways. Your hands-on work will contribute directly to safer, smoother roads for communities while gaining valuable experience in construction operations.

Responsibilities

- Prepare pavement surfaces by cleaning cracks using hand tools, power tools, or heavy equipment to ensure proper adhesion of sealant materials
- Apply crack sealing compounds accurately using caulking guns, spray equipment, or other specialized tools following project specifications and schematics
- Operate small machinery and equipment safely to assist with surface preparation and sealing processes
- Follow blueprint reading and schematics to identify areas requiring crack sealing treatment
- Assist with site setup, including traffic control measures, safety signage, and equipment placement
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used,



and project progress in accordance with company standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols

Requirements

- Basic understanding of blueprint reading and schematics related to construction projects
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, concrete forming, masonry, carpentry or related construction skills preferred
- Familiarity with construction estimating and project documentation processes is a plus
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely is advantageous but not mandatory
- Knowledge of caulking techniques, concrete finishing, flooring installation or tile laying is beneficial
- Prior experience in restoration, cabinet installation, painting or plumbing can be an asset
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines
