At On Side, Cleaner Packers, also known as Contents Technicians show up every day with a can-do attitude and desire to help. When disaster strikes, Contents Technician teams are deployed to restore order out of chaos and clean up the aftermath. Working on site and in the On Side warehouse means no day or disaster is ever the same.
The Supervisor on this team reports to the Operations Manager / Content Manager and helps with the day-to-day direction of the team. Leading communications with Project Managers, Adjusters and trades communication skills are a necessary requirement of the job.
Compensation
- Salary Range: $24-$30/hr

What You’ll Do
- Leading and providing direction to the team
- Training Contents Technicians in proper policies and procedures
- Communicating with cross-functional teams and clients
- Working with customers to restore personal and commercial items to pre-disaster state
- Packing and cataloging contents from disaster affected areas and creating inventory lists
- Cleaning contents and structures
- Cleaning fabrics and textiles
- Assisting contents/operations managers in performance evaluations and development of field staff
- Managing project documentation, including inventory
- Assisting with hands-on expertise to reduce additional trips to site/cost
- Managing staff schedules and warehouse activities
What You Bring
- At least 2 years of experience in leading a team
- Previous Restoration experience
- Technical skills: expertise in property damage assessment, restoration techniques, and construction industry knowledge
- Commitment to corporate citizenship, social responsibility, and values
- An optimistic outlook and a real desire to help
- Tech ability and comfort using Encircle, MS Office and Excel, ability to quickly learn and navigate digital tools and systems
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Physically fit (ability to lift, carry and pack boxes) and willingness to follow all company safety requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both written and verbal
- Valid driver’s licence & clean drivers abstract
- Clean criminal record
- IICRC certificate, valid or expired, is an asset

Disasters can strike at any time so a rotating schedule of 24/7 after hours on-call work is a requirement. Meaning you’ll work regular weekday hours and participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule.

Experience:
- Supervisory Leadership: 2 years (preferred)
- Contents Technician industry: 2 years (preferred)
