About the role

As an Articling Student in our firm, you’ll work closely with managers, senior managers, and partners across a variety of client engagements.
From mining and health sciences to manufacturing, not-for-profits, and more, you’ll gain exposure to a diverse client base, industries, file types, and working styles. No two weeks will look quite the same, giving you the opportunity to build a well-rounded skillset, strengthen your technical knowledge, and gain practical experience early in your career.

How you’ll make a difference
- Support our clients by preparing accurate tax returns, working papers, and other accounting assignments that help them navigate both personal and business finances.
- Be an active member of a collaborative team, delivering assurance engagements that give our clients confidence in their financial information.
- Build and maintain strong relationships by communicating with clients and third parties to gather the information needed to deliver exceptional service.
- Help shape and strengthen DMCL’s culture through your teamwork, fresh ideas, and active engagement.
Who you are
- You have completed an undergraduate degree with a focus in accounting.
- You will have completed all the required prerequisites for entry into the CPA program before your start date.
- You’re proficient in Microsoft Office, with solid working knowledge of Excel.
