Join Dokis First Nation as a Family Support Worker and play an essential role in fostering a secure and culturally relevant environment for children and their caregivers. This position integrates both Traditional and Western practices to deliver essential programming and advocacy. Reporting to the Social Services Director, you will be crucial in planning and implementing programs aimed at enhancing child welfare.

Your responsibilities will include supporting families with referrals, assisting with applications, and maintaining skilled knowledge through ongoing educational activities. Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and coordinate culturally enriched programs
- Monitor projects and maintain documentation accurately
- Provide linkages to home communities for children
- Assist with community workshops to educate families
- Support the repatriation of children from care Requirements:
- Degree in social work or related field
- Minimum of one year experience in Indigenous communities
- Strong skills in advocacy and negotiation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Access to reliable transportation for work-related travel Utilize your expertise to support families and children within the Dokis First Nation community.
