Customer Service Specialist – Etobicoke, ON

IBP is currently recruiting a Customer Service Specialist for our steel stud plant, based in Etobicoke, ON.

It's a permanent and full-time position, offering a challenging opportunity for a motivated individual to demonstrate their skills and abilities in a manufacturing operation within a large corporation.

Position Summary:

As a key member of the Customer Service team, the Customer Service Specialist multi-faceted role with opportunities to develop and build a career. We are seeking a motivated individual to demonstrate strong customer service skills within this quick-paced team environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Primary point of contact for our distribution partners placing orders with IBP.

· Receives and processes purchase orders and answers customer inquiries, including follow-up as required, in a timely manner with a consistently high level of quality.

· Build strong relationships and communicate effectively with all internal departments.

· Positive Team player actively sharing the workload and knowledge.





· Supports Sales and Marketing efforts related to specific product focus or information gathering as required.

· Responsible for meeting specific individual/team operational metrics as defined in the Customer Service scorecard.

Qualifications

· Diploma in Business, Marketing, or related field. Significant relevant experience would be considered diploma equivalent.

· Previous customer service or sales experience preferred.

· Excellent problem solving and customer service skills.

· Must be a people and results-oriented individual who incorporates and emphasizes safety and quality in all aspects of the daily work environment.

· High attention to detail.

· Must demonstrate proven success at working independently with a sense of urgency and high level of customer focus.

Additional Information

Hours - Monday to Friday with flexibility to adjust start and end times based on business needs

Salary Range- $55,000- $60,000 per annum

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
