Responsibilities

- Assist with daily milking routines, ensuring cows are comfortable and milked efficiently using farm machinery
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on farm equipment and machinery to keep operations running smoothly
- Handle heavy lifting tasks such as moving feed, supplies, or livestock with proper technique and safety precautions
- Monitor animal health by observing behavior, checking for signs of illness or injury, and reporting concerns promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of barns, milking stations, and surrounding areas to promote hygiene and prevent disease




- Support feeding schedules by preparing and distributing feed to livestock in accordance with farm protocols
- Operate farm machinery such as tractors, feed mixers, or other equipment safely and effectively during daily tasks

Qualifications

- Mechanical knowledge or experience working with farm machinery is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a physically demanding environment
- Prior experience or familiarity with dairy farming practices is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and commitment to animal care standards
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and adapt to a flexible schedule
- Basic understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and farm activities
