Title: Data Architect_ Investment/Finance

Type: 12-month contract + opportunity to extend

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Work Model: Hybrid- 4 day's in office, Monday- Thursday

Compensation: $90-$100/Hour

Start Date: ASAP

Must-Haves:

- 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Enterprise Data Architecture, or closely related architecture roles supporting large-scale data transformations
- Strong experience designing enterprise data platforms and data architectures, including data modelling, data integration, data flows, data quality, and architectural standards
- Deep experience with Snowflake and modern cloud-based data platforms, ideally within Azure or comparable cloud environments
- Strong experience working with complex investment data and investment platforms within asset management, pensions, capital markets, or financial services
- Demonstrated experience architecting large-scale transformation initiatives, with the ability to assess current-state environments and define practical target-state data architectures

Pluses:

- Experience with comparable investment platforms such as Charles River, SimCorp Dimension, Eagle PACE, Calypso, eFront, or Risk Manager
- Experience designing data architectures supporting investment management functions such as performance, investment accounting, order management, risk, portfolio management,



or investment operations
- Experience designing Snowflake-based enterprise data platforms, including modern data architecture patterns such as medallion architecture
- Strong experience with data integration, ETL/ELT, APIs, event-driven architectures, data lineage, metadata, and data governance
- Experience leading architecture decisions across large transformation programs involving multiple internal teams, vendors, and complex legacy environments
