We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Lead / Manager with robust Insurance domain expertise to design, implement, and operationalize enterprise-wide Data Governance and Data Quality programs across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement enterprise Data Governance frameworks and operating models
- Define data ownership, stewardship, governance workflows, data councils, and escalation processes
- Establish data standards, business glossaries, data dictionaries, metadata, and lineage
- Build Data Quality frameworks including profiling, validation rules, scorecards, RCA, and remediation
- Govern Insurance data across Policy, Claims, Underwriting, Billing, Customer, Product, Coverage, Finance, and Regulatory Reporting
- Drive metadata management, data cataloging, lineage, and access controls
- Partner with business, actuarial, underwriting, claims, compliance, analytics, and technology teams
- Lead governance adoption, KPIs,



compliance, and audit-readiness initiatives

Must-Have Skills ✔ 8–12 years of Data Governance, Data Management, or Data Quality experience

✔ Strong hands-on Insurance domain experience

✔ Experience with Data Governance Operating Models, Data Ownership, and Data Stewardship

✔ Strong Data Quality Management and Root Cause Analysis experience

✔ Business Glossary, Data Dictionary, Metadata Management, and Data Lineage

✔ Hands-on Azure ecosystem experience: Microsoft Purview, Databricks, Unity Catalog, ADLS, Synapse, ADF, and Azure SQL

✔ Experience with Collibra, Ataccama, Informatica Axon/EDC, Alation, or similar platforms

✔ Knowledge of PII, PHI, PCI, Privacy, Security, Compliance, and Audit requirements

Preferred Skills

➕ MDM implementation experience

➕ Data Quality Engineering leadership

➕ Regulatory reporting and compliance initiatives

➕ Cloud, on-premises, and hybrid data ecosystem experience
