We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver with own car to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to uphold our company's reputation for dependable service.
Candidates with experience in freight handling, commercial driving, or heavy equipment operation are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Ensure accurate delivery of products by verifying orders and obtaining signatures upon receipt.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle and delivery equipment.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections before and after routes to ensure proper functioning..
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving, freight handling
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate deliveries.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Prior experience in logistics or delivery services is advantageous but not required.
