Requirements: IPAC Certification (proof required upon interview)

Responsibilities

- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments using approved techniques and equipment, adhering to strict infection control standards.
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes, including updating records in dental management software (ClearDent)
- Support clinical staff by passing instruments, managing supplies, and ensuring treatment rooms are ready for patient appointments.




- Maintain cleanliness and organization of sterilization areas, treatment rooms, and supply closets.
- Float between clinical and administrative, and possible assisting duties as needed, providing coverage for team members during breaks or absences.

Skills

- Knowledge of dental sterilization procedures and infection control protocols.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail for maintaining sterile environments and accurate record keeping.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and patients of all ages, demonstrating professionalism and warmth.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care is a plus.
- Previous experience in dental assisting or floating is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
