Director of Operations

MrBlack is looking for a Director of Operations to work closely with our CEO and take ownership of the day-to-day processes that keep the business moving.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is highly organized, takes ownership, and is good at turning conversations and ideas into clear processes and execution. You'll work across customers, technology partners, integrations, and internal teams to make sure projects move forward and nothing falls through the cracks.

Job Requirements

- Own and improve day-to-day business operations and internal processes.
- Manage the onboarding process for new customers from signed agreement through launch.
- Manage day-to-day communication with technology and integration partners.
- Coordinate new integrations from initial kickoff through development, testing, certification, and launch.
- Work closely with our Project Manager to coordinate business and technical requirements.
- Track projects, deadlines, outstanding items, and dependencies across the business.
- Build and improve repeatable processes as the company grows.
- Identify bottlenecks and find ways to simplify or automate them.
- Oversee failed payments, collections, and related operational processes.




- Coordinate customer issues and make sure they reach the right person and are followed through to resolution.
- Maintain clear operational reporting for the CEO.
- Take ownership of recent operational projects as they arise.

Who We're Looking For

- Extremely organized and reliable.
- Strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
- Comfortable taking a project and running with it without constant direction.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities at once.
- Comfortable communicating with customers, partners, and technical teams.
- Able to create structure in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience in SaaS, technology, hospitality, payments, POS, or software integrations is an asset.
