Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and dependable Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and happiness of dogs in our care while providing excellent customer service to pet owners. This position offers an engaging environment where you can work with animals and help create a positive experience for both pets and their owners.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and interact with dogs during playtime and rest periods to ensure safety and proper behavior
- Monitor dog interactions to prevent conflicts and address any issues promptly
- Assist with feeding, watering, and administering medications as needed
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment by cleaning kennels, play areas, and equipment regularly
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pets’ activities and well-being
- Handle heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving supplies or assisting with larger dogs
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for both staff and animals

Qualifications

- High School Diploma (GED)
- Post Secondary Education preferred
- Prior experience at a dog daycare facility,



shelter, or in personal animal care
- Familiarity with various dog breeds
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Physical stamina for cleaning and maintaining kennels
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with pet owners and team members
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and a genuine interest in their care
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Reliable, responsible, and able to follow instructions accurately

Schedule & Availability

- Part time 25 - 30 hours per week
- Shifts: either OPEN 7:00AM - 2:00PM or MIDDAY 9:00AM - 5:00PM (hours per day will be dependent on current day's census)
- 3-4 shifts per week
