Driver Custodial - Camp Rotation Work

Position Information

- Position: Full-Time Janitorial / Custodial Site Cleaner
- Rate of Pay: $21.12/hour
- Overnight Shift Premium: Additional $1.00/hour
- Rotation: 7 days on / 7 days off
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts; camp-based
- Location: Fort Hills, Alberta

IMPORTANT – DRIVER’S LICENCE REQUIRED Driving is an essential part of this position. Employees are required to operate company pickup trucks to travel between work locations on site. A valid, unrestricted FULL Class 5 Driver’s Licence is mandatory for this position.

Applicants who do not hold a valid Full Class 5 Driver’s Licence will not be considered.

Minimum Requirements

- Valid, unrestricted Full Class 5 Driver’s Licence – mandatory
- Ability and willingness to drive company vehicles on site
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including up to 12 hours per day
- Ability to work 7 consecutive days without interruption
- Valid CSO (Common Safety Orientation) or accepted equivalent (BSO or CSTS-09/OSSA Regional Orientation)
- Wildlife Awareness
- Ability to work safely in active industrial/construction environments
- Documentation for required licences and certifications must be provided upon requestKey Responsibilities
- Operate company pickup trucks between various on-site locations




- Perform routine and intensive janitorial duties, including washrooms, lunchrooms, offices, garbage removal, sweeping, mopping, floor care, carpet cleaning, window cleaning, and surface washing
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme cold, rain, and heat
- Walk extensively, climb stairs, and work around active construction areas and heavy equipment
- Transport cleaning supplies and materials, including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Follow all PPE and site safety requirements
- Report equipment issues, maintenance concerns, and safety hazards to management

Work Schedule & Transportation This position follows a non-negotiable 7 days on / 7 days off rotation with 12-hour shifts and requires staying in camp accommodations.

- Calgary International Airport (YYC): Fly-In/Fly-Out
