Driver / Shipper / Receiver (Logistics Handler)

We are looking for you!

Our Logistics Handler is responsible for shipping, receiving, and material handling. Each function requires maintaining appropriate documentation and electronic management of the movement of materials, hardware, parts, and supplies. Logistics handling is a key component in allocating, controlling and maintaining constant flow of materials and parts throughout the plant for work orders and daily processes.

Your Objective:

- Picks up and delivers required goods, material, and consumables to/from Dellcom Aerospace, vendors and customers.
- Receives and performs visual and measurement inspection of all incoming materials, hardware, parts, supplies, goods etc....
- Completes applicable documentation, recording accuracies and discrepancies as required
- Handles required data entry, documentation and distribution of information for receiving
- Organizes storage, stock and staging locations of all materials, hardware, parts, supplies, goods etc....
- Daily tracking of staging schedule; based on scheduling requirements, pulls material or product from inventory, transports and stages for departments and individual work centers throughout plant.
- Verify inventory counts; investigate, and reconcile inventory discrepancies

Success Requires:

- Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
- Progressive experience in a manufacturing environment.
- A valid class 5 drivers licence.
- A grade twelve diploma or equivalent is a requirement.
- Ability to use measurement tools (caliper, micrometer);
- Ability to read and work with manufacturing production work orders
- Forklift & Crane Training and Experience is a significant asset.
