As a Grade 4 Homeroom Teacher, you will engage students through innovative, inquiry-based lessons aligned with Alberta’s educational standards.
Your role involves integrating character education and Islamic values while fostering a positive classroom culture. Collaboration with support staff and families ensures that every student receives the guidance needed for their unique learning needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned grade 4 lessons
- Design engaging and collaborative learning experiences
- Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet learners' needs
- Provide meaningful feedback through assessments
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities Requirements:
- Alberta Teaching Certificate or eligibility for certification
- Bachelor of Education with a focus on Elementary Education
- Robust knowledge of Alberta’s curriculum requirements
- Ability to create an inclusive and respectful environment
