Electrical Apprentice (Level 1–4)

Central Vancouver Island & North Island | Residential, Commercial & Service

Pay: $19.22 – $32.00 per hour (based on experience and apprenticeship level)

Osprey Electric is currently seeking motivated and hardworking Electrical Apprentices (Level 1–4) to join our growing team in the Central Vancouver Island area, including Nanaimo, Parksville, Qualicum, Courtenay, Campbell River and surrounding communities.

This is an excellent opportunity for apprentices who want to build a strong foundation in the trade while gaining well-rounded experience across residential, multi-residential ,commercial, service projects. You will work alongside experienced Red Seal Journeypersons and Foremen who are committed to supporting your development and success.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Assisting with residential, commercial, and service and multi-residential projects
- Learning and applying electrical code, safety procedures, and industry best practices
- Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Working on ladders, lifts, rooftops, and various active job site environments
- Pulling wire, installing devices, rough-ins, finishes, and equipment installation
- Supporting Journeypersons and Foremen with day-to-day site tasks
- Maintaining clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Developing your skills through hands-on experience and mentorship

What We’re Looking For

- Electrical Apprentice (Level 1–4) located in Central Vancouver Island & North Island
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Experienced and skilled using power tools
- Someone who enjoys working outdoors year round.
- Comfortable working on ladders and at heights
- Able to safely lift materials and work in active construction environments
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented




- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Previous construction or electrical experience considered an asset
