Responsibilities

- Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in English and Math, tailored to each student's individual needs and learning styles
- Develop customized lesson plans that incorporate effective teaching strategies and relevant curriculum standards
- Assess students’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
- Utilize multilingual skills such as Mandarin, French, Spanish, or Japanese to assist students from diverse linguistic backgrounds
- Create a positive, encouraging learning environment that motivates students and builds their confidence in language and math skills
- Collaborate with parents, teachers,



or guardians to communicate student progress and identify areas for additional support
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, student achievements, and areas for future focus

Requirements

- Proven experience working with children or young learners in educational settings or tutoring roles
- Strong writing skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages such as Mandarin, French, Spanish, or Japanese is highly desirable
- Classroom experience or formal teaching background is preferred but not required
- Passion for education and a genuine desire to help students succeed academically
- Excellent communication skills and patience to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning needs
- Ability to work flexible hours, including after-school or weekend sessions if needed
