As a member of the health care team, provides janitorial services including but not limited to project cleaning throughout the hospital.

- Minimum Grade 12 education and / or equivalent education
- Previous janitorial experience using industrial/commercial equipment and cleaning agents in a hospital or health care setting preferred
- Must be able to lift, push or pull 50 pounds continuously for up to 2 hours
- Able to stand for long periods, repetitive reaching, bending, climbing ladder, pushing and lifting using good body mechanics
- Demonstrates ability to accept assignments and follow instructions
- Capable of effective communication with other members of the health care team, both verbal and written
- Capable of setting priorities and organizing work in response to department needs days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
