Experienced Café Kitchen Team Member

Sip Stirs is looking for an experienced, organized and dependable person to join our kitchen team!

We’re a busy, fast-paced café and are looking for someone who is confident in the kitchen, works efficiently under pressure, and takes pride in keeping things organized, stocked and running smoothly.

What we’re looking for

- Valid Food Handler Certification
- Strong kitchen experience and knowledge
- Excellent organization and time-management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced café environment
- Able to prioritize multiple orders, prep and tasks at once
- Strong food prep and presentation skills
- Able to keep track of inventory, ingredient levels and kitchen supplies
- Stay ahead of daily prep needs and ensure items are ready before service
- Communicate when products are running low or need to be ordered
- Help minimize waste through proper rotation and portion control
- Knowledge of proper food handling, storage, labelling and sanitation




- Able to follow recipes and maintain consistent portions and quality
- Keeps a clean, organized workstation throughout the shift
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Takes initiative and can see what needs to be done without always being directed
- Works well as part of a team and communicates clearly
- Able to stay calm, focused and effective during busy rushes

Experience in a café, restaurant or commercial kitchen is strongly preferred. We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of the kitchen — keeping prep on track, inventory organized and food going out consistently and efficiently.
