Summarized Position Responsibilities:

The Facilities Department has openings for two (2) Facilities Operator I (term/part time) positions. These roles will primarily involve working during the home games of the West Kelowna Warriors, which run from early September through to approximately March or April. Shifts will typically range from 10 to 20 hours per week, depending on the home game schedule.

Our Ideal Candidate:

- Custodial certification or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 3 months of related experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector
- WHMIS 2015
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License
- Basic First Aid (preferred)




- Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of fire alarms, fire extinguishers, firefighting methods, first aid, emergency crowd control, and building evacuation
- Knowledge of WHMIS, janitorial practices, including protected and proper handling of waxes, cleaners and other chemicals used
- Ability to exercise courtesy, tact and diplomacy in exchange of routine information with members of the public
- Ability to work flexible hours, including shift work
- Must be able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
