- Collect and periodically analyze financial information

- Prepare monthly financial statements

- Post adjusting journal entries

- Analyze monthly variances against the budget and explain them

- Prepare various monthly expense analyses

- Reconcile and monitor certain balance sheet accounts

- Meet with managers to discuss results and analyses

- Participate in the preparation of financial forecasts

- Participate in the preparation of annual budgets as well as related analyses and schedules

- Participate in the preparation of the year-end file

- Participate in preparing accountability/reporting analyses for various project or event support programs

- Prepare various reporting documents (Ministry of Tourism, Tourism Industry Alliance, etc.)

- Prepare grant claims

- Perform invoicing, cash receipts and collections

- Provide support and collaborate with different departments

- Perform any other related tasks

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration (CPA designation an asset)

- Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar position

- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables)

- Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written

- English is primarily required for client communication (invoicing and collections)

- Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central accounting system

- Attention to detail, thoroughness and rigor in work methods

- Ability to meet deadlines
