As a key part of the Finance team, you will report to the Manager of Finance/Deputy Treasurer while managing the city’s accounting functions. This includes coordinating year-end audits, preparing financial statements, and guiding departments on budgeting and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities:



• Coordinate year-end audit activities and documentation • Lead month-end closures and financial reporting tasks • Prepare and approve journal entries effectively • Support preparation of annual financial statements and FIR • Analyze financial data for strategic decision-making

Requirements: • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation • Minimum five years in corporate accounting • At least three years of supervisory experience • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel • Robust understanding of PSAS guidelines
