Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finishing Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise finishing touches that bring a project to life, ensuring every detail meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. Your expertise in woodworking, cabinetry, and surface finishing will help transform raw structures into polished, functional spaces.

Duties

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute finishing tasks.
- Install cabinets, countertops, and custom woodwork with precision and attention to detail.
- Perform surface preparation including sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure smooth finishes.
- Apply paint, stain, or other coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment to achieve flawless results.
- Execute tile laying, flooring installation, masonry work, and siding application as required by project specifications.
- Conduct concrete forming and rebar installation for structural or decorative purposes.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during all phases of finishing work.
- Assist with restoration projects by repairing or refurbishing existing structures while maintaining original aesthetics.




- Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of tasks within safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean work setting and organize tools and materials for optimal workflow.

Experience

- Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or finishing trades with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes.
- Hands-on experience with cabinet installation, flooring installation (including tile), roofing, siding, and masonry is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of construction painting techniques and caulking applications.
- Ability to operate CNC machines or other manufacturing tools is a plus but not required.
- Prior handyman experience or electrical/plumbing knowledge can enhance your versatility on site.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, rebar installation, scaffolding use, and tool operation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs.
