About the Position The Fixed Plant Mechanic – Process is part of the maintenance team within the processing department. He/she is responsible for performing routine maintenance on fixed equipment according to established priorities and in accordance with best maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform maintenance and repairs on fixed process equipment
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues (hydraulic, mechanical, etc.)
- Be able to perform welding and cutting work
- Complete work orders in the computer system to maintain records/history
- Ensure work areas are clean and safe at all times, in compliance with 5S standards
- Participate in the development of maintenance procedures with the reliability team
- Follow and apply work procedures as well as health and safety standards
- Take part in departmental health and safety activities
- Report any incidents/accidents to the supervisor




- Maintain records related to equipment maintenance
- Collaborate and participate in projects and testing with external stakeholders to improve maintenance practices
- Perform any other related duties as required

Education and Experience

- College diploma or vocational diploma in mechanics
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset

Working Conditions

- Schedule: 14 days on site followed by 14 days off
- Éléonore mine site (fly-in/fly-out from Montréal, Chibougamau, Matagami, Rouyn-Noranda, Val-d'Or, and Wemindji)
