Our client is seeking an organized and customer-focused Office/Administrative Assistant to support our team with day-to-day administrative activities related to vehicle transportation orders and client services.
The ideal candidate will have solid communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced transportation and logistics environment. Experience in transportation, fleet management, automotive, or logistics is an asset
Location: Robert Speck Pkwy, Mississauga
Pay: $22-$26/hr
Start date: Asap
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the client's Fleet team and management.
- Respond to incoming and outgoing calls and emails from clients, drivers, and vendors.
- Assist clients with questions regarding transportation orders and services.
- Enter, update, and manage client orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain client information, parameters, records, and reports.
- Coordinate and follow up on transactions to ensure timely completion and adherence to service-level agreements.
- Monitor orders and provide regular updates and follow-up to clients.
- Communicate professionally with drivers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Use CRM and other internal systems to document and track client support activities and transactions.
- Ensure all client requests are handled promptly and professionally.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving client issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
- Stay informed about client requirements, company processes, and developments within the automotive and transportation industry.
- Support other administrative and operational tasks as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in an administrative, customer service, or office support role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable communicating with clients, drivers, and vendors by phone and email.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel .
- Experience with CRM or order-management systems is an asset.
- Previous experience in transportation, logistics, fleet, or automotive industries is an asset.
- Professional, positive, and customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
