Overview

We are on the lookout for a proactive and energetic part-time Floor Manager to help lead our restaurant team and ensure an outstanding dining experience for every guest. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, experienced in food service management, and eager to motivate a team to deliver top-notch customer service. Duties

- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow and high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Lead and motivate team members, including conducting interviews, training new staff, and providing ongoing coaching to foster a positive work environment.
- Oversee food preparation and handling processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices.
- Manage cash handling procedures, including POS (Point of Sale) systems like Micros or similar platforms, to ensure accurate transactions.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues promptly.
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere by engaging with guests, addressing concerns,



and ensuring exceptional customer service at all times.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and reporting shortages or discrepancies to prevent waste and optimize supplies.

Skills

- Proven supervising or team management experience within the food industry or hospitality sector.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
- Experience with POS systems such as TouchBistro
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff members.
- Background in restaurant management or hospitality, including restaurant experience and kitchen familiarity.
- Effective communication skills for interviewing candidates, training staff, and interacting with guests.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
