Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash handling equipment
- Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Serve food promptly, ensuring presentation quality and customer satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, kitchen stations, and dining space in compliance with sanitation regulations
- Assist with upselling menu items to enhance sales opportunities and improve customer experience
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and smooth operations
Requirements
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
