Wanderlust Kitchen makes shelf-secure, plant-based meals inspired by South Asian flavours. We’re looking for a reliable Food Production Assistant to help during our production runs.

Our next production run is August 30–September 3. Applicants available for all five days will be given priority.

Production usually takes place in four- to five-day blocks, once or twice per month, with the possibility of more frequent work. We hope to find someone we can train and invite back regularly.

Responsibilities include

- Preparing, chopping, cooking, portioning and packaging food
- Weighing and handling ingredients
- Loading and unloading dehydrators
- Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas
- General kitchen and production tasks

Sanitation, attention to detail and reliability are our biggest priorities.



We operate in a CFIA-licensed food-production environment, so you must follow food-safety and sanitation procedures carefully. You must be dependable, comfortable standing and performing repetitive tasks, and able to safely lift 30–40 pounds.

Previous commercial kitchen or food-production experience and a Food Handler Certificate are assets, but we’re happy to train the right person.
