The Food Service Supervisor (District Support) is responsible for traveling across multiple locations within the district to support daily food service operations, ensure compliance with company standards, and provide operational leadership. This role assists unit managers with day-to-day operations, marketing initiatives, staff supervision, and routine operational audits.
The Food Service
Supervisor serves as a key support resource and provides management coverage during manager absences, vacations, and other leaves.
Operational Support
- Travel regularly to assigned locations throughout the district.
- Assist with the daily operation of food service units to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, sanitation, and customer service standards.
- Conduct routine operational checks to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Support inventory management, ordering, receiving, and stock control processes.
- Assist in implementing operational improvements and best practices across multiple sites.
Management Coverage
- Provide leadership and management coverage during Unit Manager vacations, leaves, or absences.
- Oversee scheduling, labor management, and daily staffing requirements.
- Handle customer concerns and resolve operational issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure completion of required administrative reports and documentation.
Marketing & Business Development
- Support local marketing initiatives and promotional programs.
- Assist with product launches, special events, and client engagement activities.
- Ensure merchandising and display standards are maintained to maximize sales opportunities.
- Monitor sales performance and offer recommendations to improve customer satisfaction and revenue.
Team Leadership
- Supervise and support frontline employees to maintain high performance standards.
- Assist with employee training, onboarding, coaching, and development.
- Promote a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork, safety, and customer service.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Conduct routine audits of food safety, sanitation, and operational procedures.
- Ensure all locations adhere to company, client, and regulatory requirements.
- Follow up on corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Work Workplace: This position requires frequent travel between locations and the flexibility to work varied shifts based on operational needs, including occasional evenings and weekends.
Experience
Required
- 2 year(s): Min 2-3 years of supervisor or management experience in food service, hospitality or related operations

- High School or better
