Pacific Coast Warehousing is a small business in Richmond, BC V6V 1P3. We are customer-centric, fast-paced, professional, and our goal is to provide accurate, efficient and timely services in a cost effective manner in Western Canada.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Hours 8 am to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
- Locating products in the warehouse; primarily using forklift but reach truck experience would be an asset
- Pick and Packing orders
- Order selection, loading and unloading of trailers
- Housekeeping of the receiving and shipping areas
- Working with power equipment, hi-reach forklifts
- Adherence to procedures, safety practices and policy
Position Requirements:
- Candidates must have a valid forklift operator ticket
- Receiving, picking and shipping
- Knowledge of Outlook
- Have robust communication, oral, written and comprehension skills
- Be able to work quickly, under pressure, and have a sense of urgency
- Be able to record and reconcile information while prioritizing
- Have the ability to work independently and with minimal direction as well as part of a team
- Have strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- The flexibility to meet the ever-changing needs of the department
- Outstanding work safe attitude and safety record
- Good attendance record
- This position will require reach truck certification to support the shipping Operations in the department.
- Forklift #2 (counterbalance & narrow aisle) and power jack experience required.
- Please note: Heavy lifting is required up to 60lbs
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
