Join our dynamic construction team as a Framing Carpenter, where you'll play a vital role in bringing building projects to life through expert framing and carpentry skills. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your craftsmanship to create durable, precise structures. As a key contributor, you'll collaborate with project managers, architects, and other tradespeople to ensure every project meets high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute framing and carpentry tasks
- Construct and install wall frames, floors, ceilings, and roof structures using hand tools and power tools
- Perform concrete forming and finishing to prepare foundations and structural elements for further construction phases
- Install siding, trim, and other exterior or interior woodwork components with precision
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes safely to move materials around the job site




- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment to ensure efficient workflow while maintaining safety protocols
- Assist in restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged framing or structural components as needed

Qualifications

- Proven experience in carpentry, framing, or general construction work with a strong understanding of building processes
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, woodworking techniques, and welding equipment
- Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing techniques, and concrete schematics is highly desirable
- Comfortable performing heavy lifting and operating heavy machinery or equipment safely
- Familiarity with siding installation, restoration work, and general construction safety standards
- Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills to adapt to in office challenges
