This role focuses on editing dynamic short-form video content for major social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. The ideal candidate will transform raw talking-head footage, UGC, product showcases, and social ads into highly engaging videos that capture attention within the first few seconds. You will be responsible for ensuring each edit aligns with established brand guidelines and reference styles, delivering polished content with strong pacing, compelling hooks, and explicit, on-brand captions.

The position requires a proactive approach to revisions, fast turnaround times, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards across all deliverables.

Responsibilities

- Edit short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, including talking-head, UGC, product, and social ad content
- Apply colour grading, subtle zooms, transitions, text overlays, music, sound effects, and simple motion graphics to enhance viewer engagement
- Ensure all edits adhere to provided brand guidelines and reference subtitle styles
- Collaborate efficiently to implement feedback and revisions within tight deadlines
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining consistency and quality across all deliverables
- Deliver final videos in required formats,

Skills And Requirements

- Proven experience editing short-form social media content, with a strong portfolio of relevant work
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut
- Expertise in pacing, storytelling, and creating engaging hooks for social platforms
- Strong skills in colour grading, audio mixing, and adding motion graphics or animated text
- Ability to follow brand guidelines and replicate reference styles accurately
- Excellent communication skills and responsiveness to feedback
- Reliable, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines
- Willingness to share examples of previous short-form edits (AI-generated work will not be considered)
- Availability for ongoing projects and quick turnaround times
